Manuel Vogt's Book Launch at University of Amsterdam

Manuel Vogt—member of C&C, associate professor in the Department of Political Science at UCL and co-director of the global security area of UCL's Global Governance Institute (GGI)—will be presenting his new book on 18 February 2020 at the University of Amsterdam.

His book, titled “Mobilization and Conflict in Multiethnic States”, investigates why some multiethnic countries are more prone to civil violence than others. It introduces a theory that explains not only why ethnic groups rebel but also how they rebel. To find out more about all his recent work, visit his personal site.

The event is hosted by the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR). It starts at 16:00 in the common room of the political science department (B9.22). For more, visit the event page.
